Pink Rabbit Club: Statement on Upcoming Members-Only Venue
Perth, Western Australia – 28 January 2026
Pink Rabbit Club welcomes the interest from Star Observer and the broader community in our upcoming private, members-only venue, set to open above Pink Rabbit Adult Boutique in the Perth CBD.
To clarify: Pink Rabbit Club will be exclusively for members of the LGBTQI+ community and their allies. Access is strictly limited to verified members aged 18+, ensuring a dedicated, judgment-free space where individuals can authentically express their identities, build connections, socialise, and engage in consensual activities—including those of a sexual nature—in an environment grounded in trust, respect, and accountability.
We recognise the profound cultural and historical significance of sex-on-premises (SOP) venues within the queer community. These spaces have long served as vital sanctuaries for connection, self-expression, and mutual support, particularly in contexts where mainstream environments may feel unsafe or unwelcoming. Pink Rabbit Club is committed to honouring this legacy by prioritising community well-being above all.
Key commitments include:
-
Strict consent and harm reduction policies: All interactions must be enthusiastic, ongoing, and fully consensual. We will enforce clear guidelines, provide on-site education around safer sex practices, consent, and emotional well-being, and partner with relevant organisations to offer resources such as sexual health information and support.
-
Inclusivity enhancements: To further ensure accessibility for all members of our diverse community, we are installing a lift as part of venue preparations, removing physical barriers and promoting equitable access.
-
Robust safety measures: Trained staff, secure check-in processes, private facilities, regular cleaning protocols, and a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, harassment, or non-consensual behaviour will maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
Pink Rabbit Club aims to foster a vibrant, sex-positive sanctuary that empowers LGBTQI+ individuals to thrive, celebrate their identities, and prioritise both physical and emotional health in a controlled, private setting.
We appreciate the thoughtful approach of journalists like Lydia Jupp in highlighting these important community spaces and are happy to provide further details as needed.
